  • 1 cup rolled oats (100 g)
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds (20 g)
  • ¼ tsp sea salt flakes (1 g)
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder (6 g)
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup (75 g)
  • 1 tbsp canola oil (15 g)
  • 3 tbsp dried cranberries (25 g)
  • ½ cup crisp rice cereal (25 g)
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds (15 g)

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F - 160°C.
  • In a bowl, mix together the rolled oats, sesame seeds, sea salt flakes, matcha powder, crisp rice cereal and sliced almonds.
  • Pour in the maple syrup and canola oil and mix well.
  • Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Allow to cool down and mix in the cranberries.
  • Keep in an airtight container in a dry place, away from sources of heat, for up to a month.

  • If using black sesame seeds, add them in the granola when it is baked. Roasting black sesame seeds for too long might turn them a bit bitter.
  • Add the dried cranberries after baking, they would get hard if you baked them with the rest of the ingredients.
