If you're making the caramelized pecans and chocolate cookies, mix the pecans and the icing sugar in a pan. Heat on medium heat until the sugar starts dissolving and from that point on, stir until caramelized. Allow to cool down on parchment paper and crush.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients together with a whisk.
Add in the liquids, and mix with a spatula until combined.
Lastly, put the chocolate chips and nuts.
Scoop or divide the dough in 4 cookies, put on a baking sheet with parchment paper and press with the palm of your hand.
Bake for 12 minutes, turning the baking sheet halfway.
